PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly mount packing for water-sealing a gap between a water temperature detecting device and a tank to previously prevent a water leakage accident by providing the peripheral wall of a through hole with a positioning step portion for regulating a position of waterproof packing. SOLUTION: Water sealing packing 21 is fitted in the inside of a through hole 1b so as to tightly adhere a flange 21b onto the outer wall surface of a feed nozzle 1a, and a water temperature detecting thermostat 20 is fitted into a hole 21a in the packing 21 such that a thermo-sensitive portion 20a of the thermostat 20 is exposed in the feed nozzle 1a. A step portion 41 projecting by one step toward the inside of this through hole 1b is formed at the end edge of the through hole 1b. This step portion 41, which abuts and adheres to the tip surface 21c of the water sealing packing 21, serves as a positioning step for preventing the water sealing packing 21 from further intruding into the through hole 1b, prevents collapse of the water sealing packing, and increases contact area of the packing 21 to improve a water leakage preventing effect. |
