PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall of timber tenaciously without dividing or separating the jointed state of one timber and the other timber even in the case of a wooden building being half destroyed by an earthquake, a typhoon, a flood disaster or a landslide, with minimum machining of the butt end of the timber. SOLUTION: This building timber joint fitting 1 for jointing one timber T1 and the other timber T2 constituting the frame of a building, through bolts, is provided with a fixed plate part 2 fixed to one timber T1 through a bolt B1, and a support plate part 3 fixed to the lower face of the other timber T2 through a bolt B2. One face of the fixed plate part 2 is protrusively provided with locking claws 2a, and the locking claws 2a are locked to slits 8 formed at the butt end of the other timber T2.
