PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a pile in low noise and vibration and obtain high stability of piles after the piling work and obtain a relatively large bearing load. SOLUTION: A developing leg 11 is attached to the extremity of a pile 10 to drive the pile. The developing leg 11 is constituted of a tub-shaped extremity support member 20 attached to the extremity of the pile 10, a tubular body 21 disposed coaxially with the extremity support member 20, a plurality of developable leg plates 22 pivoted to the lower end of the tubular body 21, soil discharge holes 23 formed in the tubular body 21, etc.
