PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging handle which can be easily attached to an opening of a bag without the necessity to provide a reinforcing material on the edge of the opening. SOLUTION: The hanging handle includes a pair of flexible belt-like members 10 which are attached to edge parts 8, 8 of an opening of a bag 7, respectively, and a plate-shaped bridge 20. The bridge 20 is located along the inside of each of the edge parts 8, 8 of the opening of the bag so that the opposite ends of the bridge 20 are engaged with the opposite ends of the member 10, respectively, through holes which are formed through the edge part 8.
