PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a carrying device for carrying thin plate products or their laminates in a careful and dimensionally stable manner. SOLUTION: A first carrying means 3 has first bearing elements 3d mutually parallel and movable to first carrying directions F1, F3. A second carrying means 4 has second bearing elements 4d running mutually parallel and parallel to the first bearing elements 3d and driven to a second carrying direction perpendicular to the first carrying directions F1, F3. A lifting device 6 is used for the second bearing elements 4d to move in the direction perpendicular (H) to two bearings faces 3g, 4g, so that the first and second bearing elements 3d, 4d are spaced from each other, the latter passing through a space to the first bearing element 3d to provide push-out operation.
