PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transferring image, with which an image printed on a photographic paper in sublimation ink can be transferred with favorable design properties in a comparatively short period of time on a body to be transferred coated with a transparent resin. SOLUTION: This image transferring method is for transferring an image printed on a photographic paper in a sublimation ink on the surface of a matter to be transferred and is equipped with a process for producing a body to be transferred, which is formed by coating a transparent coating film on the surface of the matter to be transferred, and a process for transferring the image on the surface of the photographic paper to the surface of the body to be transferred by heating the paper under vacuum after the photographic paper is brought into close contact with the surface of the body to be transferred.
