PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut and remove extra wires on an inside diameter side of various coils by cutting operation at one time. SOLUTION: This extra wire cutting device is provided with a die 1 provided with a first escape groove 3 in which an extra coil part 8 of a coil 7 is inserted and which is mounted in an inside diameter part of the coil 7 and a turnable punch 2 fitted into the inside diameter part of the die 1 and is provided with a second escape groove 4 in which the extra wire part 8 is inserted, and cutting edges 5, 6 are formed on the inside diameter side of the first escape groove 3 and on an outside diameter side of the second escape groove 4 to cut the extra coil part 8 by turning the punch 2.
