PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing takeup device easy to mount a compression coil spring certainly in such a way as not likely to slip off. SOLUTION: A V-gear 46 is provided with an insert hole 102, and a spring box 114 configured with a wall part 106 and restriction walls 108, 110, 112 is formed at the insert hole 102 on its side nearer the end 102B. In a base lock 24, a spring accommodation part 120 is formed part whereof assumes a restriction recess 130 configured with a wall part 124 and restriction walls 126 and 128. The two ends of compression coil spring 114 accommodated in the accommodation part 120 intrude into the spring box 114 and restriction recess 130, and its displacement in the direction perpendicular to the axis is restricted by boundary walls 108-128. Accordingly there is no risk that the spring 114 slips off from the insert hole 102. |
