<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover the energy of flowing water at high recovery efficiency by rotating a water turbine by flowing water, and rotating an air compressor by the water turbine to manufacture compressed air. SOLUTION: A water stream of a dam final effluent or the like is let flow in a water turbine 1 from a water inlet 5 through a flow regulating valve 11 to rotate the water turbine, and then released from a water outlet 6. The rotation of the water turbine 1 is accelerated through a step-up gear 2, and an air compressor 3 is driven at the accelerated rotating speed. Thus, the air sucked from an air suction opening 7 of the air compressor 3 is compressed, and the compressed air is sent from a discharge opening 8 to a tank inlet 9 to be stored in a storing tank 4. The compressed air in the storing tank 4 is taken out through a discharge valve 12 to be used. Thus, the rotating force of the water turbine 1 is transmitted to the air compressor 3 through the step-up gear 2 to be driven, so that even if the rotating speed of the water turbine 1 is changed, the air compressor 3 can be operated without any obstacle.</p> |
