PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a longer life without oil feed on the way by providing a plurality of through retaining holes for housing balls on a side wall, and constituting a ball holder into a two-layer structure consisting of a composite material layer containing a solid lubricant and a resin layer or metal back metal layer. SOLUTION: Balls 5 are rotatably fitted to 100-200 through-holes 6 on the side wall of a cylindrical ball holder 2, and the holder 2 is formed into a two-layer structure consisting of a composite material layer 3 containing a solid lubricant and a resin or back metal layer 4. Tapered bored smaller in diameter than the balls 5 are formed on the inner wall surface-side layer 3, and the outer wall surface-side layer 4 is caulked to prevent the dropping-out of the balls 5. Polycarbonate, a polyethylene, natural rubber, isoprene rubber or the like is used as the resin layer, aluminum, copper or the like is used as a metal layer, nickel, iron or the like is used as the base phase metal of the layer 3, powder metallurgical technique is used for the manufacture of the lubricant-containing composite material, and graphite, BN or the like is used as the lubricant. According to the above structure, an extremely long-term stable use can be realized with no oil feed, the maintenance is dispensed with, and the production efficiency can be increased.
