PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof sheet which is useful and gives an enhanced comfortable feel when it is used for applications such as medical care or nursery by donating a deodorizing function to the waterproof sheet which is lightweight and shows outstanding water retention characteristics and a feel of surface dryness. SOLUTION: In the water sheet comprising a water absorbing layer 10, a water retaining layer 20 and a water-impermeable layer 30 sequentially arranged, an oxide and/or a composite oxide containing at least one kind of element selected from the group of Si, Zn, Ti, Fe, Al and Zr, are firmly applied to either of the water absorbing layer 10, the water retaining layer 20 or the water-impermeable layer 30 or at least a part of the interlayer space.
