SOLUTION: In a toy in which a character protruded from an eggshell is rocked by the operation of a driving module A, the driving module A is formed by housing a power spring and a gear train in front and rear housings 7 fixed together by screws 11. Then a cord 5 wound on a reel 12 is pulled out against the power spring to rotate the reel 12 and to bias the power spring, and the cod 5 is released to rock a rocking rod 10 by the force of the power spring via the gear train, etc. By this constitution, the character fitted over the rocking rod 10 is comically moved. At this time, the load of the character is made to function as a governor function to extend the driving time of the driving module A.
