摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable measurement of refraction corresponding to various diameters of pupil. SOLUTION: Luminous flux from a light source 11 for measuring refraction passes through a lens 10, a stop 9, a hole part of a bored mirror 8, a lens 7 and a light splitting member 6 to project a spot luminous flux onto an eye ground from the center of the pupil of an eye E to be examined. The reflected luminous flux from the eye ground returns through the pupil, the light splitting member 6 and the lens 7 and reflected by a peripheral mirror part of the bored mirror 8 to form an image on a six-hole stop 12. The six-hole stop 12 takes out the eye ground reflected luminous fluxes from six points of the outer circumference of the projected luminous flux on the pupil surface to form six eye ground luminous flux images on an area array sensor 15 through a separation prism 13 and a lens 14. When the pupil is smaller than a measuring luminous flux, an alignment is moved sequentially in six directions so that the projected luminous flux and one of the six reflected luminous fluxes enter the pupil to perform a measurement. When the pupil is considerably larger than the measuring luminous flux, firstly, an alignment is made in the center of the pupil to perform a measurement and then, the alignment is shifted by a specified value vertically and horizontally to the pupil to perform the measurement.
