PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize and lighten the incense burner, improve economization, and allow setting of a condition matching to feeling of each person in any place or environment where incense is burned, by storing an electric heater block in the upper part of the inside of a casing and arranging a battery, a battery storing part, and an electric heater control part in the lower part. SOLUTION: An operation portion 13 of a control portion substrate 12 is arranged on the bottom surface so as to perform all operations on the bottom surface. A temperature-adjusting knob 16 is provided for the operation portion 13, and can arbitrarily set a heating temperature optimal for various incense woods during usage. The incense wood placed on a burning plate 7 in a hole 10 for burning is heated and melted by an electric heater block 11 to generate extract, and so called incense burning state is provided. When air near the upper part of a casing 2 is heated by heat of the burning plate 7, air over the bottom travels up through a ventilation clearance 24, and this fragrance goes up moderately with the air.
