The probe of an optic gas analyser has the form of a carrying pipe with an external flange to be sealed in the wall of an exhaust duct. The waste-gas contact zone contains a measuring space and a reflector. The external zone, which is in contact with atmospheric air, contains a system of infrared radiation transmitter and receiver. The zones within the probe are separated with a sapphire partition. Characterized in that: It is equipped with the transmitter (3) and the receiver (4), secured to the plate (41), which is fixed to the first supporting ring (29), preferably equipped with resilient elements (43, 44), able to turn around two axes. The reflector (2) assembly is secured to the second supporting ring (37) and consists of a concave mirror (5), preferably made of a quartz substrate coated with a dielectric layer with high thermal strength. The mirror is fixed between two retaining rings (46, 47) and pressed to the compensatory ring (49), preferably by means of the bolts (48). The sapphire partition (21) is positioned at the angle under 1degree with respect to the geometrical axis of the probe. The waste-gas contact zone (M) of the probe contains the cylindrical diffusion filters (27, 28), connected to the cylindrical elements (22,23,24,25,26) of the probe by means of the retainer rings (29,30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37) and internal pulling rods (38,39,40). The rods are evenly spaced around the circumference of the retaining rings and connect the cylindrical components of the probe into one assembly.
