<p>A rotatable head for a rotary cutter for use with a replaceable cutting element having an elongate cutting portion (12) and an enlarged retaining portion (13) comprises first (55) and second flange (56) portions defining therebetween a channel (57) in which the said enlarged portion can be disposed with the cutting portion extending outwardly from the channel.
