PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform working with a high quality and a high precision, which is free from a dent, etc., even when metal plate feeding by a work holder is performed in a position higher than a metal plate pass line, and to perform the high speed feeding of a metal plate. SOLUTION: In this finishing machine, a holder height changing mechanism 19 changing the up-and-down positions of a work holder 4, and a work holder elevating/lowering control means 29 controlling the holder height changing mechanism 19, are provided. When working is performed while the work holder 4 exists in an area R close to a working part 3, the work holder 4 is made to be in a lowering position by this control means 29. A correcting means 27 is provided, which corrects the Y axis feeding position of a working program 22 at the time of lowering this work holder.
