PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a guide plate without mounting/demounting a die on and from a press cutter. SOLUTION: A mold consisting of an upper die and a lower die 7 is provided. One die of the upper and lower dice is provided with a cutting edge, a material 1 to be cut is supplied along the upper surface of the lower die 7. A guide plate 10 to guide the upper surface of the material 1 is situated at the lower die 7. In a so formed press cutter, the guide plate 10 is mounted and demounted in a sliding manner along the upper surface of the bottom die 7.
