PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvester for a root vegetable performing the harvest of the root vegetable cultured with a mulching film M by using a divider 44 for dividing leaves and inducing the stems and leaves A2 of the root vegetable A1 before being pulled out so as not to catch the mulching film. SOLUTION: This harvester for a root vegetable has a divider A4 installed with an extended part 55a extending in the front direction in a state of making a contact with the ground from the front end of a stems and leaves-guiding part 55b at the front part and a catch-preventing part 55c formed by bending the front part of the above extended part 55a in rear direction in the state of making the contact with the ground at its front end, supporting the divider 44 with a rotary fulcrum 73 as freely capable of rotating in up and down direction, and installing a holding member 75 for holding itself at an angle that the extended part 55a makes the contact with the ground.
