PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition that has markedly increased melt tension. SOLUTION: This composition comprises ([A]) 99.999-95 wt.% of a thermoplastic resin and ([B]) 0.001-5 wt.% of an amorphous thermoplastic resin that satisfies the followings (a) and (b) and the composition satisfies the following (c): (a) the glass transition point of [B] is higher than the melting point or the glass transition point of [A]; (b) the ratio of the steady-flow shear viscosity of [B] [represented byηs(B)] to the steady-flow shear viscosity of [A] [represented byηs(A)] (ηs(B)/ηs(A)) is 0.05-150; (c) the ratio of the non-linear parameter of the tensile viscosity of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising [A] and [B] (represented byλBlend) to the non-liner parameter of the tensile viscosity of a thermoplastic resin composition comprising [A] (represented byλA) (λBlend/λA) is >=1.2.
