PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the formation of an extra-thin sheet and to prevent the generation of pin hole or the like, in the sheet by applying a continuous casting and rolling to a hyper-eutectic Al-Ni-Fe base alloy containing specified contents of Ni and Fe to farm it into into a specified thickness under the condition of a specified range of molten temp. and applying a specified load in the rolling. SOLUTION: The hyper-eutectic Al-Ni-Fe base alloy containing by wt. 0.1-0.3% Ni and 1.7-3.2% Fe is used. The continuous casting and rolling is applied to this alloy to form it into into 2-4.5 mm thickness, under condition of the molten metal temp. at 680-780 deg.C and loading at >=7 kN/1 mm width. The obtd. rolled coil can be formed to a thickness of <=100μm by cold-rolling. Then, it is desirable that the molten alloy temp. is to be raised by 40-90 deg.C higher than the liquidus temp. of the alloy. Further, according to the using of the finally obtd. thin sheet, suitable contents of Si, Co, Zr, Ti, Zn, In, Sn, Cd, Mn, Mg can be contained therein.
