<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treating apparatus capable of treating large amount of soil efficiently. SOLUTION: Air in a chamber 110 is introduced into a flame generation section 20 through a duct 111, and the air is mixed with the high temperature flame to make the air odor less. Further, soil (containing germs) 113 is charged into a rotary cylinder 50 through a soil chute 29. Into the rotary cylinder 50, high temperature gas generated in the flame generation section 20 is continuously fed, and the soil 113 is heated with the high temperature gas. The soil 113 is gradually moved from left side of the figure to the right side by the guide of a guiding board 54 while stirred, and during the process, heat is sufficiently added to the soil to perform disinfection and sterilization. Thus, soil is continuously sent and treated, and larger amount of soil therefore can be treated compared with a batchwise treatment. If the charging and discharging of the soil is performed using a conveyor, the soil can be treated without needing troubles of a worker, and working load can be widely reduced.</p> |
