摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable resin cushioning material having high compression resistance to a load in the vertical direction and high rigidity to bending and cushioning properties to shock in the horizontal direction in a cushioning material of a biodegradable resin foam. SOLUTION: A foamable biodegradable resin is extruded from a die having a number of nozzles arranged at the tip of an extruder and expanded in a molding mold adjoined to the die. The resin foams extruded from each nozzle are mutually fused before the surfaces of the foams are solidified and a wood- like texture is formed to produce a biodegradable resin cushioning material having high compression resistance and high rigidity in the lengthwise direction and high cushioning properties in the horizontal direction. The cushioning material is used as a cushioning material as it is or properly used for a direction requiring compression resistance and rigidity and a direction requiring cushioning properties to produce a cushioning material.</p>
