PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively execute the sorting of plastic and also to improve the sorting and recovering system of nonferrous metals by providing the sorting step of respectively removing a magnetic material, the plastic and the nonferrous metal from ground waste and executing the sorting of the plastic by a gravity sorting step using water stream. SOLUTION: In the case when the waste such as appliance is recycled, the waste is previously crushed, and the obtained crushed material 10 is introduced at first to a magnetic sorting step 101, and a magnetic material (iron, etc.), 11 in the crushed material 10 is removed by attracting with a magnet. Then in a nonferrous metal sorting step 102 using the gravity sorting step using the water stream, a nonmagnetic material 13 being mainly plastic and from which the magnetic material 11 is removed is removed and recovered. Thereafter a residual nonferrous metal 14 from which the nonmetal 13 such as plastic and the others are removed is sent to an eddy-current sorting step 103 and sorted into aluminum 15 and copper 16 and recovered by subjecting the metal to an eddy-current sorting machine. |
