PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an unsaturated polyester resin composition as a raw material for producing molded articles of the unsaturated polyester resin excellent in dimensional accuracy and surface smoothness. SOLUTION: The unsaturated polyester resin composition of this invention is produced by blending 1-30 pts.wt. of a powdery polyethylene obtained by a wet process such as a chemical crushing process, an aqueous medium process or the like and having 5-100μm for its middle particle size to 100 pts.wt. of the unsaturated polyester resin.
