PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit an alarm from any place on a ship by providing an alarm whistle generation part and a receive part in an alarm device main body attachable to an adequate position of the ship and providing a transmission switch and a transmission part in a remote controller to remote-control the alarm device main body by the operation of the transmission switch. SOLUTION: An alarm device for a ship is constituted in such a way that an alarm device main body 4 with a receive part which is attached to an adequate position on the ship such as a mast or a bridge is remote-controlled in a wireless manner by the operation of a remote-controller 6 provided with a transmission switch and a transmission part. The alarm device main body 4 can be attached to a position most suitable for operation, and the transmission switch can be put at a position where a maneuverer M can operate most easily. Consequently, an alarm whistle can be sounded instantaneously from any place from a sound generation part in case of emergency. Moreover, it is possible to avoid the damage due to corrosion by salt damage because the use of a lead wire can be omitted.
