<p>The procedure for simultaneous generation of digital sine and cosine voltage provides the specified voltages at the output terminals (x1) and (x2) of two identical resistor bridges, of which each features two pairs of diagonally located resistors (Ra) and (Rb), which are adjustable by external control. For step-like and periodic modification of resistors (Ra) and (Rb) the procedure uses combinations of parallel resistors of different ratings. The switching is performed by unipolar semiconductor switches (S), which are controlled by the electronic device called "Johnson counter", while the sum of reciprocal resistor ratings (Ra) and (Rb) has to remain constant during each step. The device for simultaneous generation of digital sine and cosine voltage consists of an electronic device for modifying the resistor ratings (Rb) and (Ra) as well as two identical resistor bridges. At the same time the device provides at the output terminals (x1) and (x2) of the first bridge a digital sine voltage, while on the other bridge a cosine one.</p> |
