The invention relates to an amination method in the production of polyamines. It improves the selective preparation of linear aminated products and prevents any formation of yellowing byproducts or byproducts which later can cause yellowing. In the first stage of the method amination occurs to a degree of conversion between 50 and 98 wt. %, calculated in relation to the general yield of polyamines at average temperature poroprtional to the time-weight ratio, at least by temperature 15 deg. C higher than the average one, proportional to the time-weight ratio in the following stage. 10 claims
