PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a device for applying a plurality of small slips to an envelope, in a small size and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This method for sticking a plurality of small slips to an envelope face is to stick a plurality of small slips to the parts which become individual unit envelopes having an envelope face to which a plurality of booklet-type small slips are sequentially stuck, on a traveling web for the envelope. A rolled small slip sheet with the small slip forms printed in a multi-face in multi-rows is cut by a slitter 12 in each row at a gathering part, and the small slip forms thus obtained by cutting area aligned in a single row using turning bar devices 15a-15d. Further, the phase of the traveling direction of the small slip forms is adjustably set with the help of traveling path regulating devices 16a-16d, and during this phase matching process, glue is applied to the small slip forms by row to make the forms undergo a gluing/gathering process at the collecting part. Next, the gathered small slip forms are vertically cut to the shape of a booklet using a cutting/sticking device 14 and are sequentially applied to the envelope web traveling on a traveling line L. |
