<p>The invention relates to a heater (1) for fitting in a room (2) with a convection surface and, e.g. in the case of a hot-water heater, a water chamber with an inlet and an outlet, and a separate, closed storage chamber (6) in which there is a latent heat storage material, in which the storate chamber (6) is spaced from but is in a heat-exchange relation with the heater (1). To construct such a heater in such a way as to save power while at the same time provide a high comfort index, the invention proposes that the latent heat storage material have a phase transition temperature of e.g. 30 DEG , which clearly lies below a normal operating temperature of the heater (1) of e.g. 60 DEG .</p> |
