PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of a device even by the malfunction of a slider of high mass traveling at a high speed by providing a stopper for a slider at the end of a traveling base, and providing a plastically deformable element on the stopper. SOLUTION: A slider 14 generally travels on a traveling base 12 along a shaft 15 so as not to reach the end of the traveling base 12. A stopper for a malfunction is provided at the end of the traveling base 12, and formed as a shock absorber 18. When the front surface 22 of the slider 14 collides with the front surface 20 of the shock absorber 18, the front surface 20 is brought up from the traveling base 12, a bar 30 is pulled out from an inner cavity 40, and a compression tube 48 between a head 38 and a stopper disc 46 is compressed and folded in accordion or bellows shape. The kinetic energy indwelling in the slider 14 moved by the deformation of the compression tube 48 is converted to deformation energy. Accordingly, other elements are never damaged. |
