PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator high in the efficiency of magnetic separation. SOLUTION: This separator is provided with a pipe 11 made of nonmagnetic material through which a material to be treated is passed and a bar magnet 21 installed within the pipe 11 for removing magnetic material in the material to be treated. The bar magnet 21 has plural radially projecting arms 23a. The pipe 11 has arm supporting parts engaged with the arms 23a and arranged along the axial direction thereof with the bar magnet 21 being prevented from falling down. |
