PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solvent-type adhesive compsn. comprising a high-solid, solvent-type adhesive which can cope with the environmental problem energy- saving and speedup of the production line, and is excellent in heat resistance, application workability and water resistance. SOLUTION: This solvent-type adhesive compsn. comprises a thermoplastic addn. polymer and an org. solvent dissolving and/or dispersing the polymer, wherein the polymer has a star-shaped block structure comprising a multi-valent mercaptan section which is a remaining part of a multi-valent mercaptan, dissociating a proton from its mercapto group, a first polymeric section extending radially from the multi-valent mercaptan section, and a second polymeric section. The polymer has a viscosity of 20,000 cP or less at 25 deg.C, the first polymeric section consists of a high glass transition point polymer having a glass transition point of 273 K or more, and the second polymeric section consists of a low glass transition point polymer having a glass transition point of lass than 273 K. |
