PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve uniform distribution of illumination intensity on the floor surface in a closed space. SOLUTION: The objective lighting equipment is provided with a rod-shaped light source 1 having supporting parts 1b at both longitudinal ends to support the light source parallel to the ceiling face 10b of a closed space 10. The equipment is further provided with a radiation means 2 for locally directing the light emitted from the source 1 toward the floor face 10c corresponding to both longitudinal ends of the light source 1 in the closed space 10.
