PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling component member having a high structural strength at a coupling portion and three-dimensional beauty in the appearance of a roof laid with a roofing material which can be easily laid and retain definitive waterproofness. SOLUTION: The coupling component member for a roofing material at this down-valley portion comprises a coupling main body member 7 equipped respectively with a projection 8 at the upper side, a notch portion 9 at the lower side and a roofing sheet cramping body 16 at the portion of the center line at the surface side after folded to the rear face side at the center line portion and a roofing sheet-cramping member 17, and the roofing sheet-cramping member 17 is folded to the rear face side with almost the same angle with that of the coupling main body portion 7 at the center line portion, and the end edges of both the right and left side portions are folded to the rear face side respectively thereby forming a pair of insertion piece 19.
