PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device reduced in lateral shift and having sufficient flexibility in a lateral direction. SOLUTION: In a vibration control device wherein a rubber laminate consisting of a plurality of rubber layers 2 and metal layers 3 alternately supperposed one upon another is provided between metal flanges 1, the bonding strength of the rubber layers and the metal layers is 5-60 kgf/cm2. By setting the bonding strength of the rubber layers and the metal layers to a predetermined range, there is a beneficial point such that the damping device wherein lateral shift is minimized and lateral flexibility is ensured can be provided.
