UNIT FOR GREENING WALL SURFACE AND WALL SURFACE GREENING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit for the greening of a wall surface and a wall surface greening method having excellent designing flexibility, effective for reducing the labor by the simultaneous execution of a planting work and a building implementation work and having little danger in construction. SOLUTION: A climbing plant 18 is planted on a greening base material 12 provided with an irrigation pipe 14 for supplying water and nutrients and grown in a plastic greenhouse. When the climbing plant 18 is fully grown, the greening base material 12 is transported to the application site as a plant unit 10 and attached to the wall surface of a building. The irrigation pipe 14 of the plant unit 10 is connected to a supply pipe for supplying water and nutrients and the whole plant units 10 are covered with a guiding net to guide the climbing plant 18 over the whole surface of the building wall.
