PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a part which is not washed when a vehicle having a large height is washed by providing a load detection means detecting rotation load of a top brush and a descent force change means changing descent force of the top brush. SOLUTION: When a vehicle height is detected and a current detector 35 connected with a motor 9 for driving a top brush 5 detects overload, a change- over valve 16 which is a descent change means is opened to supply pressure- reduced air to a cylinder 11 so that the top brush 5 is energized upward and facial pressure for a vehicle is reduced. Consequently, the top brush 5 can rise by resisting against gravitational force along its front glass face without being caught on a front glass of a wagon vehicle type vehicle. When the top brush comes into contact with a front face of the vehicle having large inclination and its rotation load exceeds a predetermined position in this way, descent force of the top brush is reduced. Consequently, the top brush moves smoothly along the front face of the vehicle to reduce a part which is not washed. |
