PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject biological cleaning method capable of efficiently cleaning polluted environment at low cost by simple operation. SOLUTION: A culture soln. containing microorganisms 2 cultured in a culture tank 1 is injected in a polluted ground water channel 17 from an injection well 3 and a pollutant in polluted environment is decomposed by the action of microorganisms. Whereupon, the population of a protozoan preying upon injected microorganisms 2 increases with the elapse of time and cleaning effect lowers and, when time is further elapsed, microorganisms to be preyed on and nutrients are exhausted and the population of a protozoan decreases naturally and, therefor, the culture soln. containing microorganisms 2 is again injected in the polluted ground water channel 17 in the same way at this time and, by repeating this intermittent injection of microorganisms 2, polluted environment is cleaned. |
