PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remotely controllable device comprising a shape memory alloy wire having a degree of design freedom in which a stroke of a locking lever to a slide member of a key can be sufficiently secured in a limited space, and in which a sufficient torque and stroke can be obtained in the minimum necessary length. SOLUTION: A drive unit having a remotely controllable drive member comprising shape memory alloy and included in a key comprises a pulse power source circuit which constantly supplies power in pulses, a battery 1e to drive a pulse power source circuit, a receiver 1b constantly set in a stand-by condition, a drive circuit 1r to supply power to the shape memory alloy wire, and the shape memory alloy wire electrically connected to the drive circuit 1r in series, extended to form a V-form having two fixed points at both ends, and stretched to drive an actuator at a peak of the V-form, and an angle of the apex of the V-form is a right angle or more.
