PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain easily disaggregated moistureproof paper having excellent moistureproof properties, capable of exhibiting sufficient moistureproof properties even in a state having crease, capable of being readily recycled after use, and useful as a base material for various kinds of packing use. SOLUTION: This moistureproof paper has a moistureproof layer containing a phyllosilicate compound and a synthetic resin latex at least on one surface of a paper supporter. The synthetic resin latex is a styrene-butadiene-based copolymer latex having (-20) to 30 deg.C glass transition temperature, and the moistureproof layer contains a synthetic resin having >=30 deg.C glass transition temperature in a proportion of 3-30 wt.% based on the amount of the solid component of the moistureproof layer.
