PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing gas hydrate capable of continuously producing methane gas hydrate in an industrial scale from a natural gas mainly comprising methane and water and its producing method. SOLUTION: This manufacturing apparatus for gas hydrate comprises a tubular container 1 provided with a cooling mean, a mean supplying water or an anti-freeze into the tubular container 1, a gas introducing tube inserted to the center part of the tubular container 1, a rotating shaft 12 inserted to the center of the gas introducing tube, a driving mean for the rotating shaft 12, a propeller type mixing impeller 24 installed at the bottom of the rotating shaft 12, a gas dispersing part 15 installed at the bottom of the gas introducing tube arranged to enclose the ends of the mixing impeller 24, a gas introducing mean to introduce the gas mainly comprising methane to the gas introducing tube and a discharging mean to discharge the methane hydrate produced in the tubular container 1 to the outside.
