PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely prevent rattling of an inner structure without deteriorating appearance of a family altar, and to easily separate the inner structure from a trunk side wall without damaging the trunk side wall in repairing the family altar. SOLUTION: In a family altar, this trunk tightening structure is employed for an upper stage 20 and a roof. For the upper stage 20, both end parts 31 of a first rod body 30 to be engaged with the upper stage 20 are protruded out of trunk side walls 15 from first through holes 16 opened in the trunk side walls 15 of an altar box 4, and a wedge member 35 is detachably fitted in between a wedge receiving part 34 provided on the end part 31 and an outer surface of the trunk side wall 15, so the trunk side wall 15 is tightened inward to press and fix the upper stage 20 at inner surfaces of the trunk side walls 15. For the roof, a second rod body protruded through a second through-hole out of the trunk side wall 15 at one end cooperates with the wedge member 35 to tighten a trunk.
