PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky transplanter capable of being folded compactly by setting the number of rows of central transplanting claws as a specific state based on the number of rows of a central side seedling-loading stands. SOLUTION: This sulky transplanter formed by equipping a transplanting device installed with seedling-loading stands for plural number of rows and transplanting claws 12 in its left and right directions simultaneously, is provided by setting, in housing left and right both sides seedling-loading stands 14, 15 and transplanting claws 12 in a central side seedling-stand 13 and the transplanting claws 12 by folding in an overlapped state, that the number of the rows of the central side transplanting claws 12 becomes larger by one row based on the number of rows of the central side seedling-loading stand. In this case, it is possible to set the number of rows of the central side seedling- loading stand 13 and the number of rows of the seedling-stand 13 of the housed seedling-loading stands 14, 15 as a same number.
