PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket for a disposable syringe which is free from entering of foreign matters into a human body, capable of smoothly discharging a medicine liquid within a cylinder and satisfactory in the sealing property of the medicine fluid. SOLUTION: A gasket 13 made of rubber or resin material, which is fitted to the tip of the plunger 12 of a disposable syringe 10 and can be moved freely slidably with respect to the inner wall of a resin cylinder 11 to be combined with this plunger, is provided with an amorphous carbon film 16 at least at a sliding space within the cylinder 11. The casket is manufactured by a first step of preparing the gasket 13 by molding rubber or resin, a second step of exposing to at least one kind of gas plasma selected from gaseous hydrogen, gaseous nitrogen, gaseous oxygen, gaseous fluorine, gaseous fluoride and inactive gas, and a third step of forming the film 16 on the exposed surface of the gasket 13 by exposing to the plasma of a gaseous hydrocarbon. |
