PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally transferring ink ribbon for satin cloth that shows excellent print quality and scratching properties, when satin cloth is used as a substrate for print dyeing. SOLUTION: The objective ink ribbon for thermally transferring the dyeing ink to the satin cloth is produced by coating a polyester film that has a thermally resistant sliding layer on one face with the ink composition that is prepared by admixing a resin mixture of maleic acid, cyclized rubber and polyethylene at a weight ratio of 1:2:3 to wax so that the total resin components in the wax plus the admixed resin may become 22-32 wt.% based on the ink composition.
