PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently exchange the battery by forming an engagement guide hole to be fitted to an engagement pin of a battery stand or a battery carrier, at a battery tray side. SOLUTION: A battery 4 is placed on a battery tray 1 having a grooved cross section with its end part unmovably locked, and connected to a cable. The battery 4 placed on the battery tray 1 is pushed out to a pushing-out position by a reach cylinder of a reach fork, an engagement pin 5 of a battery stand 3 or a battery carrier 7 is fitted in an engagement guide hole 2 integrally formed on the battery tray 1 to pull out the battery 4. A worker executing the exchanging work can smoothly and surely pull out the battery 4 placed on the battery tray 1 onto the battery stand 3 or the battery carrier 7, and the exchanging work can be efficiently executed.
