PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging jig exclusively for shutters that can greatly reduce costs and cope with double windows, and a shutter attaching method. SOLUTION: This hanging jig 10 exclusively for a shutter is approximately in the form of a rectangular flat plate having a fixing pawl 16 on its lower edge and a stopper 18 vertically movably and rotatably supported on its upper edge. A movable pawl 26 is formed at the lower end of the stopper 18. A first opening is formed in the bottom face 48A of a shutter body 48 and a second opening 52 is formed in the upper surface 48C of the shutter body 48. To hang up the shutter, the jigs 10 are attached to both side faces 48B of the shutter body 48. Thus, since the need for welding is eliminated, the jigs 10 can be greatly reduced in cost as compared with conventional types of jigs, and the jigs 10 can be pulled out from a gap between the shutter bodies 48 which are arranged side by side in the case of double windows.
