<p>Sheet material for packaging comestibles and pharmaceuticals comprises a continuous flexible plastic film having a first surface with an energy level > 36 dynes/cm and a second surface with an energy level 32 dynes/cm with the first surface bearing a geometric pattern coating of dry cold seal adhesive comprising a polyurethane ionomer reaction prod. of 50-80 wt.% polyester polyol, 15-25 wt.% aliphatic diisocyanate and 3-6 wt.% dimethylol propionic acid neutralised with a base, the reaction prod. having Tg of -20 to 5 [deg]C. Also claimed is a non-blocking roll of sheet material for packing comestibles and pharmaceuticals which comprises the continuous flexible plastic film bearing a geometric pattern coating of the dry cold seal adhesive.</p> |
