The vehicle has three axles. The front axle construction (1) has a conventional steering mechanism (3, 4, 5). The rear axle assembly (6) is driven by the engine via a conventional differential gear system. The intermediate axle (7) is steered in synchronism with the front wheels, using a hydraulic system (12 to 15). The hydraulic system is controlled by an electronic system (16), fed by turning angle detectors (17, 18).
